Freedom comes when we focus on God, not on those who have hurt us. And though forgiveness seems illogical from a human perspective, it allows us to give to others what our heavenly Father freely gives to us. Forgiveness is a decision we can make to free ourselves from anger, bitterness, and malice.

Trust is essential in every relationship. If you can’t bank on what someone says or promises, then the relationship is built on a foundation that will fail. This applies to our relationship with God. Can we rely on His Word and His promises for us? Learn how Scripture is trustworthy for our lives and understand the implications that has on our relationship with Him.

At some point in our lives, we realize that the things of this world will not quench our thirsts. God has put a thirst in all of us that can only be quenched by Him. The woman at the well was transparent enough to admit her thirst for dignity, love and friendship. Jesus gave her a relationship with God because she asked. If we ask, He’ll satisfy and quench the emptiness in our souls.
