RHYTHM- November 5th!

Don’t miss RHYTHM this week as Mick Martin continues on in his series about the importance of true friendship!
 
If you haven’t been to RHYTHM in a while, we’d like to invite you back! Featuring coffee-house style worship and new small group break-outs to help apply the sermon, RHYTHM now offers an intimate new format for worship, teaching & community!  Come check it out Thursdays @ 7:30pm in the main lobby!

Community Service
 
Food & Bag Donation
            Thursday, November 5th
            7:30 during The Rhythm
Donate any non-perishable food item or paper or plastic bag to benefit the Cornerstone food pantry.
 
Second Saturday
            Saturday, November 14th
            8:00 am to 12:00 pm
Serve your community the 2nd Saturday of every month with Cornerstone! Bring a canned food item. Enjoy a little worship time. Choose which of the service projects of the day first you best.
 
Chandler Health Care
            Saturday, November 21st
            1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Volunteer at the Assisted Living Center across from Chandler Regional Hospital, where you will be able to visit with residents and work on arts and crafts projects. Maximum of 10 volunteers may sign up.
 
Thanksgiving Community Dinner
            Thursday, November 26th
            8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Want to give back on Thanksgiving? Serve dinner with the Salvation Army @ the Chandler Community Center.  Volunteers will be in one of 3 shifts, including: set-up, serving, or clean up. Each volunteer is asked to bring a store-bought pie with them.

            Friday to Sunday
It is leaving daily life behind, and concentrating on letting God direct your time and thoughts as you help those most in need. No hard and fast deadlines, or designated schedules to observe … just service to those who have less than you do! www.weekendmissions.com.

Mexico Caravan
            December 10th – 12th
            Thursday to Saturday
Mexico Caravan is a quarterly trip into Tijuana, focusing on building houses. It is a great first time mission trip! www.mexicocaravanministries.com.

Social Activities
 
First Fridays
            Friday, November 6th
Experience a Phoenix tradition at First Fridays, an Art and Music festival, starting @ the Phoenix Art Museum
Meet at the church at 6pm to carpool to the Phoenix Art Museum to pick-up maps and plan the route (not all sites can be covered in one night).  There is art, music, shops, and food along the routes.
 
Dinner & Bowling
            Saturday, November 21st
            Meet for dinner @ 6 pm. Location TBD.
            Enjoy dinner followed by a little competitive game of bowling.
