RHYTHM-December 3rd!
•December 2, 2009 • Leave a CommentHappy Holidays RHYTHM!
As we officially enter into the Christmas season, it’s easy to get lost in the commercialization of what the holiday can often become. Join us as Mick Martin kicks off a special 3- week series called “Choosing Christmas”. We’ll explore the message of Christianity that is clearly seen in the Christmas story: God loves us so much that He sent His one and only son into the world to save whoever chooses to trust in Christ. Good news is good news once you choose to believe it. This week we’ll be discussing BIG FEAR.
For some, this might be the first Christmas you are celebrating as a new believer. We encourage you to come hear the true Christmas story and rejoice in the good news of what it means to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ! See you Thursday at 7:30pm in the main lobby!
**If you are a newcomer to Rhythm or just looking to get more connected with us, come to the Newcomer’s Reception this Thursday night immediately following Rhythm! You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about Cornerstone, the Rhythm and meet some new people!**

Aaron, Cornerstone’s multi-site pastor & Kate’s father, has a special heart for Rhythm & Mosaic and it would be great if we could honor him with our contribution to Kate’s Crazy Cool Christmas! Please bring all donations to the Rhythm over the next few weeks! We’ll make sure they get to the McRae’s to sort and deliver on Christmas! Toy suggestions are below. Happy Thanksgiving!
•November 26, 2009 • Leave a CommentDear RHYTHM Family,
On behalf of RHYTHM leadership, we would like to wish you all a very safe & happy Thanksgiving! As we reflect upon this year, one of my favorite verses comes to mind on this particular holiday…”Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” -1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.
Our prayer today is that God will give each of us a heart of thanks for all the blessings He has so graciously bestowed upon us. And despite the storms and hard times that many of us have faced this year and may be facing currently, we still serve a loving God who cares about each of our trials and allows us to pray to Him and bring Him the desires of our heart. We are blessed to be living in a country where we can worship & fellowship freely.
Thank you for being a part of our community & family. We love each of you & look forward to sharing many more memories with you the rest of the year and into 2010!
Happy Thanksgiving!
-The RHYTHM
